Your morning session starts with a tour and introduction to the birds, you will spend time holding and learning all about Owls, Hawks, Falcons, Vultures and Eagles.
One of the highlights of this experience is the Hawk Walk; flying one of our Hawks free through the open countryside around Matfen Hall, swooping in to land on your glove and then casting the Hawk off into the trees.
In the afternoon session you will be behind the scenes and involved in preparing the display birds ready for the show. We aim to make you whole day hands on and up close with all the Birds of Prey we have at the centre and that are used in the show.
